COVID-19 Alert

We are happy to announce that we are seeing patients again, beginning Monday, May 11, 2020. These are unprecedented times, so we ask that you please be patient as we do our best to reschedule any missed appointments, and accommodate everyone as necessary. Know that we have missed all of you, and are eager for things to return to normal, but your safety is our priority.

To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we will be putting certain precautions into place. We will follow the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA).

You will see some changes that will be put into place when it is time for your next appointment These changes have been made to help protect our patients and staff.

• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you arrive in the office, and temperatures will be taken on all patients as you arrive.
• When possible, parents will be encouraged to remain in their cars. If a parent needs to come to the office, we ask that only one parent accompany the patient, be wearing a mask, and do not bring any siblings or friends to appointments.
• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will also do our best to allow greater time between patients so that we can limit the overall number of people in the office at a time.
• Our team will be protected by the all of the necessary PPE, and the office will continue to be cleaned and disinfected between patients, and at the beginning and end of each day, as usual in our practice.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you again, and are happy to answer any questions that you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you, and every patient safe in our practice.

Welcome

Our goal is happy, healthy children with beautiful smiles. Since our inception in 1990, we have been building long-term relationships with families in the metro Washington, DC area. From the start, we strive to establish the positive attitudes about dental care that set your child on the right path to a lifetime of good dental health. Dr. Carol Orlando, DDS and Dr Tom Orlando, DDS, are committed to quality, affordable dental care. Their warm and vibrant personalities make them a long-time favorite of both children and their parents. “Dr. Carol” and “Dr. Tom” are definitely “little people dentists” who understand the benefit of a positive bond with their patients while placing them at ease in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. The Orlando Pediatric Dental Care team loves what they do and focuses on building trusting, long term relationships with each child.

"We have taken all five of our kids to see Dr. Orlando for the last 12+ years. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy we have been. Professional, friendly, knowledgable, and completely trustworthy are the things that first come to mind when I think of describing this practice. They love what they do, are excellent at it, and it shows. What else can I say? You want a dental office that you can complete trust your children to? Look NO further. Thanks Dr. Carol. We love you!"

- Joel S.

“My son went to Orlando Pediatric Dental for about 5 years. I think they do a good job. My son never complains about anything and he has had a good bit of work done. Everyone in the office is always professional and courteous."
